TRANSTAR Tex Coat Underbody Stone Chip Guard 369g Aerosol Black
Tex Coat is a rapid drying, flexible protective coating. Texture can be varied to match OEM textures as found on rocker panels, valances, etc. It is suitable to go directly over bare steel, galvanized steel, aluminium, raw plastic (SMC, BMC, ABD, PPO, PUR), and primed areas.
Application
- Shake Tex Coat can vigorously.
- Apply in 1-3 light even coats. Film build should be about 3.0 mils per coat. Total film build should not exceed 8-10 mils.
- Flash 10-15 minutes between coats. IMPORTANT: KEEP CAN IN MOTION WHEN APPLYING TO AVOID EXCESSIVE FILM BUILD.
- Allow final Tex Coat application to flash 30-60 minutes at 75°F (25°C) before topcoating.
